The stainless steel Armored Cap from DYNAVAP has a higher mass than the other caps and can therefore retain heat for longer. This means that vaporization takes place longer and more evenly, which in turn has a positive effect on the aroma and flavour. And it is no longer necessary to turn the cap when heating. But as usual with DYNAVAP, the cap clicks when the desired temperature is reached. A second click signals when it needs to be reheated.

The Amored Cap fits particulary well on the DYNAVAP helix tip. But should also be compatible with the other tips from DYNAVAP. If it is a little too loose, you can squeeze it carefully. To widen it, simply place it on the mouthpiece and loosen it. As the Armored Cap has more mass than the previously known caps, we recommend a multi-flame jet burner for heating.
